FCA and Enel X and ENGIE cooperate with charging solutions to support electric vehicle production and sales

According to foreign media reports, Fiat Krysler Automote (FCA) has signed an agreement on the e-mobility solution to support plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) and pure electric vehicles (BEV) Production and sales. As part of the Group's 2018 to 2022 business plans, such PHEV and BEV models will be launched. Through such protocols, FCA dealers can provide innovative charging solutions and services for retail and business customers.

In addition, the agreement also includes new technologies for research and testing to reduce electric vehicles. Signed a cooperation agreement with the FCA for EnelX and Engie, both companies are global leaders in the energy field. Moreover, FCA also establishes partnership with ENGIE's subsidiaries, ENGIEEPS and Evbox, and the cooperation between ENGIEEPS and FCA has been in energy storage for more than two years, and Evbox is a charging pile production leader.

The above partners will cooperate with FCA companies in the European market to use technology developed in recent years, providing innovative solutions for private and corporate customers. Enelx will work with Italy, Spain and Portugal, while Engie will work with Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland, Slovak, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The main purpose of cooperation between FCA and the two companies is to provide private and public charging solutions to support the sales of electric vehicles such as Fiat 5oous and Jeeprenegadephev.

Cooperative solutions will include installing home charging piles (or Wallbox) according to customer needs, as well as charging optimization and intelligent management. Both companies support FCA customers, preliminary feasibility evaluation and installation for Wallbox, and continuously manage and maintain them throughout the life cycle of customer vehicles and Wallbox. In addition to installing home charging piles, customers can also get cost-effective and very convenient public charging solutions.

FCA will cooperate with its partners to develop applications, allowing customers to determine the location of the public charging pile, and through vehicle integrated network connection functions, booking and paying charging services. FCA will work with partners to continue training and related electrification initiatives within its European dealer network. FCA dealers have designed specialized training programs for salespersons and other people.

In addition, FCA also develops charging base solutions for distributors, customer parking, test drive zones and service centers together with their partners. In the next two years, the FCA will install about 700 EnelX charging piles in its Italian factory, office, R & D center and employee parking, allowing employees to charge automotive at work time. In addition, FCA will also launch a new pilot plan with Enelx to develop new charging services and solutions.
