Production and manufacture of lithium-ion batteries is a process of strictly liating up a process step. For example, the production of lithium batteries includes a polar manufacturing process, battery packing process, and final liquid, sealing, chemical, and aging process. In these three phases, each step can be divided into a few key processes, each step will have a large impact on the final performance of the battery.
In the stage manufacturing process, it is possible to finely divided into slurry preparation, slurry coating, pole roll pressure, a pole slice, and the plate drying five processes. In the battery pack, according to the battery specifications, it is generally distributed, wound, housing, welding and other processes. The hydrotherent process after assembly is also included in the liquid, sealed.
Finally, the battery is chemically formed, aging, and divided into three steps. After the battery is completed, the battery needs to be initiated and stabilized to the battery, that is, the final formation - aging - points. First, the concept of prep-formation is the charge and discharge of a small current to the manufacture of the pre-formation.
After the production of lithium batteries is completed, the charge and discharge of the battery is required. Regarding the purpose of precharge, it is mainly two: 1. After the battery is completed, the electrode material is not in the best applicability, or the physical properties are not suitable (for example, the particles are too large, the contact is not tight, etc.
), or the object itself No pairs (such as metal oxide negative electrodes of some alloy mechanisms), need to perform first charge and discharge to activate. 2. During the first charging process of the lithium battery, Li + is detached from the positive electrode activity, after the electrolyte-diaphragm-electrolyte, embedding a negative graphite material layer.
During this process, electrons are migrated from positive electrodes along the peripheral circuit to the negative electrode. At this time, since the lithium ion is embedded in graphite negative electrode potential, it is first reacted with an electrolytic solution to form a SEI film and part of the gas. In this process, partial gas generates a consumption of a small amount of electrolytes, and some battery manufacturers will perform battery exhaust and hydraulic operation after this process, especially for the LTO battery, producing a large amount of gas causes a battery drum.
Thickness exceeds 10%. For graphite negatives, there is less gas production, and it is not necessary to perform exhaust operation, because the SEI film generated during the first charging process hinders the further reaction of electrons and electrolyte, no longer generating gas. This is also the source of the inverting capacity of the graphite architecture, although the loss of irreversible capacity is caused, but it has also achieved stability of the battery.
Second, aging aging generally refers to the placement of the first charge after the completion of the battery assembly liquid, and there may be high temperature aging. The two functions are the SEI membrane properties and composition formed after the initial charge formation. Stable, ensure the stability of electrochemical properties of battery.
There are three main purposes: 1. After the battery is pre-converted, the inner graphite negative electrode in the battery forms a certain amount of SEI film, but the film structure is tight and the pore is small, and the battery is aging in high temperature will help SEI structure recombination, forming loose porous film. 2.
3. Place the battery at a high temperature or normal temperature, which can ensure that the electrolyte can be sufficiently infiltrated to the pole, which is advantageous for the stability of the battery performance. The battery is essential, and the battery charge and discharge process is selected according to the material system and structural system of the battery in actual production, but the battery has a charged discharge in small current conditions.
After these two-step key process, the stabilized battery can be distributed, and after packaging, you can play.
